The Tourism Recovery Program will support the Tunisian tourism sector

TUNISIA. Thanks to the Tourism Recovery Program, companies in the Tunisian tourism industry can adapt to the challenges of the pandemic, improve their ability to innovate, save jobs and strengthen international cooperation with the European market.

The Tourism Recovery Program was launched by enpact, an organization to promote entrepreneurship in emerging and developing countries, and the TUI Care Foundation, founded by TUI, the world’s leading tourism group, in coordination with the local project “Promotion of Sustainable Tourism” carried out. This joint action by the European Union as part of the “Tounes Wijhetouna” program and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) is being implemented in partnership with the Tunisian Ministry of Tourism by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).

The tender primarily concerns accommodation providers, restaurants and bars, tour operators, leisure, cultural and sports facilities, reservation and support platforms, but also internet portals specializing in tourism, consulting and event management agencies, as well as transport, logistics and trading companies.
